John Wriggle is a music composer, arranger, trombonist, and educator in New York City. He currently teaches music appreciation and jazz history (including the course “Duke Ellington & American Jazz”) at the City College of New York. He is also a Chancellor’s Fellow in the Musicology Ph.D. program at the CUNY Graduate Center, where he is writing a dissertation titled “Harlem on Broadway: Popular Music Arranging in Swing Era New York.”
